I would one day like to own my own beauty salon and/or spa. I do not want to work in it, just own it and make a profit from it. Is this possible? and if so, how would one go about it?Owning a beauty salon without being cosmetologist?
You don't have to be one of the hair stylists,but as the owner the cost of utilities,permits,inspections by Department of Health,etc. fall upon you. You can rent a chair to each of your stylists and they in turn pay you a percentage of the service or product(s) sold to that customer.(They keep their own tips).Owning a beauty salon without being cosmetologist?
the easiest but most expensive way would be to purchase a already est. company. try to find someone who is retiring or their business is not doing so well. this way all of ur equipment will be there and the only thing that u would have to do is transfer ownership.
